One recent study found that consistent sessions of therapeutic massage can reduce pain, promote muscle relaxation, and improve both mood and overall sleep quality.
I offer therapeutic massage for women with stressful lives and long to-do lists through my refined skills in relaxation massage—using a wide variety of massage techniques including elongated massage strokes, differing levels of pressure to guide the muscles into a relaxed state, hot stone accents and gentle stretching.
I create and hold space for you to relax and slip into a sanctuary of bliss and timelessness; a massage experience that is truly individualized to your body's needs.

Oncology massage improves nausea, fatigue, and the overall stress associated with cancer treatment. I offer oncology massage support for women, men and children. I have advanced training in oncology massage, interned as a massage therapist in the oncology department at Boston Medical Center (working with adults) and currently work in a pediatric oncology clinic in a Boston based hospital. I have two award nominations for the compassionate touch that I have brought children living with cancer.
During this massage modifications can be made to work with the side effects of cancer treatment due to radiation, chemotherapy, surgery (ie. lymph node removal), and medications. Examples of modification can include: lighter pressure, advanced bolstering techniques, massaging with the client in a hospital bed, and working around hospital machinery.
*Gift certificates are nonrefundable.
*All appointment cancellations require 24 hour notice.
I have never met anyone more passionate about their work, the power of touch and its ability to heal.

My intention is to help you lower your stress levels and, if need be, help you get through the process of cancer treatment.
I graduated from Wheelock College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Life (child advocacy in hospital systems).
I was certified as a massage therapist through Cortiva Institute and have worked both in day spa settings and in my own private practice.
I received my oncology massage training with Tracy Walton, a leading authority on massage and cancer. Once my training was complete, I was invited to intern as an oncology massage therapist at Boston Medical Center.
I am currently a partnering massage therapist with Lucy's Love Bus and work at Floating Children's Hospital in Boston on Wednesdays. Because of my work with Lucy's Love Bus, I have been nominated for the Schwartz Center's Compassionate Caregiver Award twice.
I am also on the preferred vendor list for both the Red Lion Inn and Cohasset Harbor Inn located in Cohasset, Ma. I enjoy bringing relaxation massage to the guests staying in both of these locations.
